This morning saw the release of several other big and anticipated names.
Mouton’s magnificent 2018 has been released today at GBP 5112. A mouton that bowled the critics over with Suckling awarding it 100 points and saying “I am a little bit speechless about this one. I have not seen such earthy and totally deep character of the soil in a young Mouton in my career." This wine has now been sold out.
Pavie has, for many years now, been an “amazing, singular wine”(LPB) and this has never been more true than in 2018. This latest vintage release is now available at GBP 3504. Jeb Dunnock gave it the potential for the perfect hundred: 'Possibly the wine of the vintage'.
And the “epic”(LPB) 2018 Haut Brion has now been released at GBP 4900. The 2018 is, in the words of Decanter’s Bordeaux expert Jane Anson, “A beautiful Haut-Brion that combines generosity and elegance.” and the critics were all unanimous in their praise. The 'big and beautiful' (LPB) Haut Brion Blanc was released today at GBP 7300.
