Chateau Clinet, the Pomerol property owned by the ambitious Ronan Laborde, is now producing consistently excellent wine. The 2006 was a huge success and no less so is the 2008.
The vintages that put this property on the map were the 1990 and 89, receiving massive critical acclaim. Mature vintages are notoriously difficult to find, but there is no doubt that this estate is currently producing top quality Pomerol relective of its terroir – the nearest neighbour being l'Eglise-Clinet.
