A relative newcomer, this domaine has been producing serious Burgundy only since the 1970s. Ever since then, they have been steadily acquiring top pieces of land to add to their portfolio of prime cote de nuits terrior, including plots at Chambertin, Charmes, Mazis to name just the grand crus.
The domaine is still seeking to expand beyond its ~10 ha holding, not an easy thing to do at such a desirable address. The wines are superb – traditionally crafted and invariably requiring some years of bottle age before showing their full potential. The wine has been made biodynamically since 2004.
