We first tasted the wines of the amiable Paul Pernot (and his sons) in 2007 and were immediately impressed with the quality produced from almost 19 hectares of vineyards. Although this sounds a lot, Paul actually sells around 80% of the production of his village wine to the negociants in Beaune, which means he retains the very best of each harvest for bottling under his own label.
We believe these white wines are right up with the very best domaines from the internationally renowned village of Puligny Montrachet, and it is a pleasure for us to work with Paul. The outstanding Bourgone Charndonnay is a wonderful entry wine that boasts an abundance of citrus flavours with maturity and freshness. With four other premiers crus and two grand crus to entice your palate, this domaine will quickly endear itself to clients who love classic white Burgundy.
