Sauzet, Etienne

Background

One of Burgundy's greatest winemaking estates, with arguably one of the world's finest white winemakers at the helm, Domaine Etienne Sauzet has been producing outstanding wines for decades. The 8 hectare estate is run by Gerard Boudot, son-in-law of the late Etienne Sauzet, and their wines, from the generic and village level through to the 1er and Grand Crus, are all typified by an elegance and balance, (almost) unrivalled in the whole of Puligny Montrachet.

The 1er and Grand Cru are among Puligny's most sought after wines, characterized by opulently rich flavours and impressive ageing potential. These are must buy wines for fans of white Burgundy.
