Tasting Notes and Scores
Firm, with pretty blueberry and currant flavors at the core and dusky herb and cedar notes weaving through the mildly chewy finish. Best from 2007 through 2012. 1,000 cases made.
Full red-ruby. Meaty aromas of bright cassis, raspberry, prune, currant and black olive, along with assertive chocolate and cedary oak. Plush, smooth and concentrated; slightly overripe but shows some intense, vibrant small fruits. Finishes with earthy, savory flavors and a firm tannic grip. - Jeremy Oliver
Medium to full red-purple; ripe blackcurrant fruit floods the bouquet; the massive weight, extract and ripeness of the fruit on the palate does not work nearly as well as it does for the Shiraz.
