Domaine de la Vougeraie - Bonnes Mares 2005
Tasting Notes and Scores
A brooding and very reserved yet impressively elegant and refined nose featuring very fresh notes of red, blue and violet aromas introduces big-boned, rich and distinctly robust and sleekly muscled flavors that do a slow build from the mid-palate to an explosive finish. This has huge underlying reserves and while this is very firmly structured, the tannic spine is well buffered. I very much like this as it's fashioned in a classic Bonnes Mares vin de garde style that will last for 30 years or more. A great effort. Drink 2017+.
