Robert Parker (Wine Advocate #176, Apr 2008)
Tasted blind at the 10-Year On Tasting in Sauternes. The 2005 Château Sigalas Rabaud has a refined, sorbet-fresh bouquet with oranges, tangerine, honey and a smear of melted butter: all very delineated and focused. The palate is clean and fresh with tangy marmalade on the entry, viscous in the mouth with a long, harmonious and sensual finish, bitter orange and honey on the aftertaste. This is a superb showing and one of the pleasant surprises revealed by this tasting.
